The business concept was established in 1999 when Joe Millen (founder) discovered a passion for wind sports. From Kiteboarding to Land sailing, Adrenalin Rush Sports Australia was created to spread the word about what is now said to be the fastest growing sports industry in the world.

Over the past 10 years, Adrenalin Rush Sports Australia has been the hub of the regions wind powered sports, featuring in many magazines and television shows, promoting the unique coastline and ideal conditions. Many tourists have travelled to Mackay because of this media attention only to discover the hype is all true.

Today Adrenalin Rush Sports Australia is still the only dedicated Extreme sports outlet in the Central Queensland region, and has recently taken a new direction by introducing the custom built mobile hub. This 24’ shop on wheels is  now based at the most popular riding location in Mackay, Town Beach. This new hub allows for our staff to safely patrol our Kiteboarding community  by offering assistance and advise right on location.

Demo before you buy options are available on location with brands from Best, Cabrinha, North , Slingshot and many others, making the new mobile hub a resource centre that will pave the way in which Kiteshops around the world do business in the future.
